What is ACE-031?

A recombinant fusion protein of the extracellular domain of the activin type IIB receptor (ActRIIB) and the Fc part of human IgG1. It binds myostatin, activin A and GDF-11 and so blocks their signalling.

An ActRIIB ligand trap that inhibits myostatin, GDF-11 and activin signalling and modulates muscle mass in preclinical models.
