What is CJC-1295 DAC?

A synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH); the DAC version has a half-life extended by a Drug Affinity Complex. CJC-1295 is widely studied in growth hormone secretion research.

CJC-1295 binds the GHRH receptor in the pituitary and stimulates the synthesis and pulsatile release of growth hormone. The DAC modification lets it bind albumin in the blood, which greatly extends its half-life.
